My new book, “Why God Created Two Genders: The Case For Biblical Gender Roles”, is published on Amazon Kindle and now available in paperback as well. In this podcast I talk about how God brought me to write the book, including the struggles I went through along the way. And I talk about what is in the book and my hopes for the impact this book will make for Christ.

Dear Larry, so excited to get your book! I am not married anymore, however, ironically I found your BGR blog site AFTER my second divorce and have found blessings in the knowledge of God’s Word as to the how and the why of biblical gender roles; that…as you pointed out, the Gospel is the most important doctrine in the Bible, but not the ONLY important doctrine. Whether I marry again or not, I try and forward this truth to other married women to bring their husbands..and most definitely God, glory through their submissive behavior. It usually doesn’t go over well lol..no surprise there, I was this kind of prideful wife/woman, and regretfully raised my daughter in that sinfull mind-set. Now trying to undo that teaching is extremely difficult. I hope and pray your book is well received, although remembering how I received your teachings wasn’t good in the beginning! The anger…the things I said about what you wrote..”that’s not true!” Yet there it was in the Bible and then realizing that everything I was so-called “taught ” about marriage and God in general was a lie was quite a gut punch!
I would love to give you my Pastor’s name to receive this book, but not sure how he would take it. I will pray on it and see where God takes me. And yes, I do pray for you and your family and thank God for guiding you in this ministry. Thank you and pray He continues to bless you in it.
Alice,
If you want to, please email me your church address and Pastor’s name and I will be happy to mail him a free paperback copy of my book.
And thank you for your kind words of encouragement and your prayers.
Larry
