The world tells us that we should never take any abuse (mistreatment) from anyone and especially our spouse. That we should always fight for our rights. The world also teaches us that if we have a spouse who has any kind of behavior problems that makes our relationship difficult or less than happy – that we should just divorce them and move on to a new relationship. But is that the example that Christ showed us?
